Volunteer Incentives Program: (Pilot)
BBOC is a member-based, volunteer-driven 501(c)3 organization. No matter where you serve, you are expected to volunteer. Our Executive Team, Board of Directors, Advisory Board, Registered Members, Group Members, Ambassadors, & Volunteers all are asked to pave-it-forward for the betterment of our community and fulfill your monthly obligation to serve.
BBOC’s Volunteer Incentives Program gives BBOC the opportunity to show the entire BBOC family, how much we appreciation your unwavering service.
Monthly* Volunteer Expectations (BASE):
💟 All Board Members 10hrs
💟 Registered Volunteers 6hrs
💟 Members 5hrs
💟 Ambassadors 5hrs
💟Group Members 2hrs
💟 Vendors 2hrs
*(Volunteer hours are non-transferable)
BBOC BUCKS:
For every hour beyond your Monthly Base Expectation, BBOC will issue 5 BBOC Bucks.
BBOC Bucks* can be redeemed to cover BBOC Merch, Vendor Fees, Membership Dues etc.
*(BBOC Bucks are redeemable for 1 Year from date issued. BBOC BUCKS may Not
be redeemed for cash.)
1 Volunteer Hour equals 5 BBOC Bucks
After you serve 10 Volunteer hours over your Base Hours, BBOC Bucks will increase:
1 Volunteer Hour will then equal 10 BBOC Bucks
For Example: A Vendor volunteers 15hours during the month of August, 2021.
2 hrs will go towards their monthly expectation(Base).
8 hours will equal $40 in BBOC Bucks.
5 hours will equal $50 in BBOC Bucks
The Vendor now has $90 in BBOC Bucks and can redeem towards vendor fees, merch, and/or membership for up to August 2022.
KEEPING TRACK:
BBOC now uses Track It Forward. Volunteers can keep track of all their volunteer commitments.

BBOC has formed a new committee:
BBOC Steering Committee.
The Committee will plan and execute 1-2 annual seminars/conferences; with the goal of equipping Black Entrepreneurs, with Skills, Resources, and Capital needed to Scale Their Business.
All Steering Committees will hold their 1st meeting on Sunday, June 27th (Time(s) will be advised by email).
Each Committee Will Create an action plan for fall 2021-fall 2022.
Committee members will meet once a month.
